Significant Technical Input Registered SVX
A chop saw, a drill press, a welder, heck for this you don't really need a welder.
I made the camera mount for my boost gauge/wideband movie in about 10 minutes, and I still think its cool.
I could not see the pictures at work today, as work has a very slow dial up, but got to see them tonight on my home computer( still dial up, but not as slow)
The pictures are GREAT!
Nice effect!

The pics look great. The first picture of the SVX by itself is my favorite.

What process did you use on the photos? I'm running CS2 and haven't found exactly that effect!

It's a separate program called Photomatix pro.

What I do since it was like 2 pm in harsh sunlight, I took 3 shots for the pics... one properly exposed for the car, one underexposed so the sky would be more blue, and one overexposed to remove the shadows.

Then I combined the image with tonemapping to get that effect.

Bought back from the dead!!

Well, I've been playing a little bit with my camera..a little christmas gift I got. I decided to revive this thread..why start another one, right? So here we go...not quite as awesomeriffic as Tim's photos, but worth looking at nonetheless. Enjoy!

For anyone intrested: I used a Nikon coolpix L3. The photo editor thing that comes with it is rather basic, and for the most part I just increased the sharpness to emphisize the finer details.I must say the vividness of the colors suprises me, for what the camera is. For the night shots I used the "Slow sync" flash..Which basicly is a flash with a slower shudder speed. A sweet thing the camera has is a panorama assist thing. I've been playing wth that too, and cant wait for a field of svxi to use it on
