Angry Frickin' Windshield crack^%##@%^

Wouldn't you know to add to my luck, I've made it 2 years without a single chip on my windshield and then in 1 day I get 2 big ones right on the drivers side. Now a few days after, A nice crack has formed and is starting to cross my windshield. I guess thank god I have a parts car with the right colored windshield. Now I have to figure out how to pay a shop to swap them for me. Just felt like throwing a rant up I guess. Anybody know a cheap glass shop to do some labor in the Akron area?

Tough luck Jason, but a good thing you have part cars...
Any luck with a new job?

Not even bothering with the job hunt thing yet. Still doing the SVX parts thing and trying to save some of them. It would help if people would buy the ones you try to save though, Especially when they moan and complain about them getting parted out all the time. Yes, I have come to appreciate having a parts car around greatly. It saves me a lot of grief and trouble and keeps my car in good shape.

Bud, I'm as cheap as they come but won't own an SVX without paying the insurance company that extra $15 a year for $100 deductable glass coverage! Replace it with your parts glass and GET COVERED!

Sorry benebob, But I'm just a little cheaper. I can't afford an SR22 plus coverage on the car a month(which ranges from 175-250 dollars a month for full coverage). I plan on always having parts cars, So glass hopefully won't be a big issue for me. Besides, Now I have to worry about rebuilding my poor wrecked car, Nevertheless paying insurance.

Yeah I'm sure its too tough to come up with that extra $15 a year. You can just get glass coverage without getting full coverage.

Really? I didn't think I could get just coverage on my glass? I'll look into some insurance for it, Especially after all this thats happened this week.

Yes you can. Costs about $15-20 a year.

It's a required coverage in Florida. I made one claim with Progressive and they raised my rates 4% a year. If it happens again I'm paying cash.

awsome, I'll look into it as soon as I get a second. It's not too important now though.
