They also ditched the nice a/w intake manifold, sad. I wonder if it got sold or just didnt come with the car for whatever reason. I can seee why, all those wiggins clamps would cost you a fortune.

I recall this car was somehow accquired by means other than moral and then was sold on Ebay.

well 1600hp is what the turbo's capable of. The engine ain't gonna be pushing out only 300hp when done, not with that turbo. I'm not gonna title this thread "240hp SVX engine" because that's the only solid number. I figured the numbers will be 1600hp more or less. Unless you want me to make a number up? So critical

that is not the same WRX that was on Ebay. They were using twin tubos mounted in the front bumper not a single HUGE turbo. Plus the body just looks different and the intake is a different design as well. They are claiming a turbo capable of supporting 1600hp NOT the engine is/will make 1600hp. I don't know what all the banter is about as it is clear as day as to what is going on. They are running the engine without the turbo to be sure the motor is running well and able to tune some codes for it that it will run Don't jump out of your seat yet but it looks to be the first successful turbo EG33 swap to date
