Hi Gang! I'm back!
Many of you will remember me from the 10th Anniversary Meet, and several Colorado Gatherings. A Little over a year ago, I overheated my beloved Pearlie (long story), it would have taken a considerable amount of $$ to repair. I could not afford it at the time, so it just sat in my driveway. Around March of this year, a good friend of mine (DavieGravy) had an unfoutunate accident, and totaled his beautiful Black SVX. Needing a car on a limited budget, I sold him my Pearlie. To make a long story short, it is back on the road with a perfect engine (@ 95K).
This past weekend, I bought a liquid Silver from MADJ80. Davie and I went to look at it, and were pleasantly surprised. From MADJ80's post we really weren't expecting much, however it is a very solid car, someone has taken pretty good care of it, and MADJ had put new YOKO's on it, new exhaust, and a new windshield. We spent all day Sunday, cleaning and fixing little small items. The biggest issue I have is it needs a compressor. We charged the ac (I have some R-12) and it got very cold, however compressor oil, came out the front of the compressor, which told us where the leakage was....Other than that, a pretty nice car. I am looking for the following: compressor console lid button spare tire holder and bolt owners manual pulley cover (black plastic piece accross the front of the engine) Please send me an e-mail of PM if you can help with any of this. Howdy, its nice to meet you. While you were gone, I have joined...I am glad you can sit behind the wheel of an SVX. I cannot imagine being without mine. Your car looks nice. Good luck with her...

Yay! Tom's back!!!
We really have to get to Idaho Springs sometime in September. Would very much like to see you! But we'll probably be on the bike instead of the car. Very nice looking silver, congrats. I think I have that spare tire bracket...I'll look this weekend. Glad you're back!
