Sunroof unsticking
Hey all
Just a tip about sticky sunroofs. I use a silicone spray with one of those super tiny straw spray directors. Open the sunroof and run it back a few inches. Put down some newspapers or a towel to protect form overspray. Spray the little material bumper that runs all around the sunroof. Clean up overspray. Repeat every 6 months or so. I also use it for the seat belt roller coaster along the rim of the door. One can will last several years. I bought: Pyroil® Multi-Purpose Silicone Lubricant. It is a Valvoline product. Spring is coming!

Did you spray underneath the material that goes around the sunroof? What about the track that it travels on? Earl

Spray area definition
The area I spray is just the bead that you can see from the outside when the roof is closed. I use white grease for the track slider and gears. I don't use much grease, applied with a long Q-tip about once a year.
Same grease I use for the little chatty gizmos that keep the door open. I wonder if the ones I saw on the new WRX are the same size perchance!? They were the body color and look pretty cool. You know, as opposed to my worn rusty ones.
