Front bumper removal

Don't have my manuals as I lent them out so looking for a how to on removing the front bumper cover and ideas on installing it sans the support for our race car.

This will get the cover off. After that, I think you just need to remove the 4 big bolts that go vertically through it that can be seen in the engine bay.

Interesting...does it make sense to disconnect the battery so any hard "bangs" that occur during the removal don't set off the airbag?? Or is this a fairly straight-forward "loosen and remove" process?
