I would imagine I would see it on the strut also. I haven't... and it happened as soon as they were installed. I certainly hope there is no REAL problem... nothing FEELS wrong.

do you hear this sound every time you put pressure on it ? and does it have the same elasticity as the other side ?? if you always hear this sound, it means that there is something wrong with your strut interior (the interior ring is damaged but does not appear to the exterior because the exterior ring is still fine)

I haven't driven the car in quite a while so it is hard to recall. However, I recall it occuring regularly but not really while driving at a regular pace. It seemed to come from the rear when driving slowly (like a parking lot or in reverse). I couldn't determine which side it comes from but I don't notice a difference from left rear and right rear.

first you should check if your struts are the cause of this sound, without driving the car, try to put some pressure on your trunk at each side of the car, and see if it is the case...

The Koni's on my Integra made that "squooshing" sound from the first day and are still going strong 5 years/80K-miles later. Don't worry about it. Looking forward to the upgrade on my current ride!

That's exactly what I hear. It's far more noticable with the rear shelf off. I'm pretty sure it's only from my rear passenger side. The other side is fine.

That is kinda what I thought and hoped. I haven't noticed any "problems" in the couple years they have been on. I wonder if it is just the valving when set at a certain "stiffness." I didn't notice much change from just the Konis on the SVX, hopefully the combo with GC springs will be cause for ear to ear smiles.

Dave, how do you like the Koni/GC setup? Did your Konis make that sound from the get go?

It's as big of a difference as going from an auto to a 5spd!

The car barely leans at all now and my passengers get twice as scared

The Koni's made that sound right from new.

Another thing I noticed is that my tires don't squeal anymore if I take a corner too fast or intentionally kick the tail out (eg u-turns). I did get them squealing in auto-x however.

because my friend installed Konis in his BMW (gas) he didn't like them because they are not as stiff as he wants, then reverted to Boge (gas). anyway I am thinking of videotaping my car in a week showing all the aspects, mufflers, spoilers, rims, interior, struts...

Danny,
That would be great! Remember to make the video Windows Media Player and/or QuickTime friendly!

p.s. have you contacted Seraph about having a picture of your car in the 2005 SVX Calendar?

Sure sounds like what i had to do to my stock struts to make the konis fit. And yes how do you know yours are firmer then the adjustable koni's for the svx?Just curious...
