small repairs

where are all the screws that hold down the center console? mine moves around alittle and makes a very annoying noise at high speeds. also, how do you tighten up some of the false wood trim in the dash?

I don't know that I remember them all, but there's one (or two) on each side in the front under the little plastic piece (to the side & kinda under the radio area).

Then there's the likely culprits, the screws under the felt pad inside the center console box. The fix (cheapo) I used was to fit some large thin metal circles (the surround for tacking down roof tar paper - think thin fender washers) around the screws as the housing can crack or wobble and this makes it a lot more secure. I have read several threads on this & I'm sure others used amore elegant solution...try the search feature for "console", something will come up.

I cut a floor tile to fit in the bottom of the console then put 3 corresponding holes in it for the screws. Console hasn't wiggled since!
