While cruising a japanese SVX website, I found this AWD window graphic (with a Subaru PN), applied to the inside of the SVX rear quarter glass:

I asked a friend at a dealership how much they run. I'll see what he has to say tomorrow. I really want a set of AWD badges after watching a AWD SUV get towed with 2 wheels on the ground yesterday

Those ones you made are pretty hot. I like those better than the ones i got from subaru. Having the decal won't make the tow truck driver think twice about towing your car with two wheels rolling. I had mine towed when my gasline froze and he almost towed it with two wheels dragging. I had to run out and tell him to put it on a flatbed. He said he didnt even realize it was a subaru and he thought the AWD decals i had were just there and didnt think it was really AWD. Well what can i say....looks can be decieving.

I doubt stickers will make a difference. Most tow truck drivers won't care. Best insurance is to tell them.

That's a good reason to have a AWD sticker. For me it was the chain controls in the Sierra mountains. When you head up to the mountains to go skiing, they make you put chains on your car if it's snowing. (California drivers suck in the snow and should have chains around their hands so they can't drive at all when it snows. But that's just my opinion.) Anyway, 4x4 and AWD cars are exempt from chain controls. I got tired of arguing with the guy about my car being AWD, so I had the decals made up. Works like a charm. I had some extras made up, but gave the rest away at the Reno meet.

Nope, they add traction so you can use your horsepower.

These are similar to the ones I had made for my pearlie. Mine were cut out of translucent frosted vinyl in reverse to be applied to the inside of the window. They look like they were etched into the glass as light passes through them.

I think I got the idea for the decals from seeing a pic of yours. I didn't know who to give the credit to until now. I really liked the idea of spelling out 'all wheel drive' as it fills up the window. AWD doesn't look as good. Too small. The ones I had made are actually individual white letters. Since they are individual letters, I'm sure getting them off would be a real PITA. Since mine is actually underneath my tinting, I don't think I have a choice. I'm stuck with them.
