i will vouch that the root beer he was drinking was PROBABLY actually root beer, but i will not say that he was not drunk before drinking the root beer
the alcohol around that table was mostly being drunk out of the bottles it came in, or the courtesy cups from the hotel, man did we go thru a lot fo those cups

Sounds like a great time.
What can I add to what has been said - the SVX has that indescribable 'something', to me, it was a 'look' of aggressiveness but comfort..the assassin in a Hugo Boss suit And what else, for that sort of money, sees entry into Ferrari runs, Porsche runs, guys in Lotus Esprit's following for a chat....and people from, as said above, having nothing to having millions, all wanting to say hello and come over and have a chat. I remember one guy with a Ferrari 360 asking if he could have a look inside and, sheepishly "mind if I get in" That made my day Sorely miss SVX-33H but I'll get another one, either here or overseas But best of all is this place: I aim to try and catch up with as many people overseas as I can - have never spoken to most of them but feel like we are friends. I feel privileged to be part of this community, even if now SVX-less *straps JDM rear light valence to back of bicycle, rides around making flat six noises, jams screwdriver in gear assembly* "Oh no, my transmission is gone*

I think the SVX has a naturally poetic nature about it. The graceful lines are smooth and clean. The body flows freely as though it were a drop of water. The squat stance of the car gives the impression of a Sumo wrestler ready to "pounce".
The ease of control and the responsiveness make the car a true "one off". In the four years that I have been driving, I have never driven a car that I hated. But the SVX is different. I hate not driving it. This is the only hate for this car, or just hatred against myself for having to sleep. When I first bought the car, I found myself just driving. Aimlessly, just driving. The aire about this car is breathtaking. Every day I wake up knowing that this piece of Japanese history is mine, and belongs to no one else. And it was a true Diamond in the rough. I had totaled my truck one night while at work delivering pizzas. Over the course of the next few weeks, I was hitting up all the used car lots near my house. And one night in the midst of snow and other vehicles, there she sat. And what a sight it was. I knew from that first moment that I saw her, she would be mine. I woke up promptly the next morning at 7:00 knowing that if this car were not for sale, it would not have sat there overnight. I asked for a test drive and from the moment I left the lot, I knew that this car would be mine. In the end, I bought the car 30 minutes before it was to go to the auction block. This car is honestly been worth it. I don't know how many times my life was in jeopardy and the AWD snow capabilities helped me. When it comes right down to it, the SVX is graceful like a ballet dancer and has the tenacity as well. I love my car, and yes Regis, that is my final answer.
