I'm pretty sure a 20k SRT-4 with 10 grand in mods could freakin' KILL a WRX. But, it isn't as nice of a car.

I know that FWD is just that: FWD. It has it's ups and downs just like any other system. But point being, for 20 grand, you have a car that's FASTER than a stock WRX. With that extra 10 grand.....
you could do quite a bit.

phill ,, thank abought that ,, wich one would u own, a supra or a civic?

also ,, see what he does with street tires off the line, ?

they have there ups and downs, maybe i see it more of a down side then most people, but i guess if u want good fuel economy FWD is good, your loosing less power, then RWD or AWD ,

FWD also is really good from a roll, learned some hard lessons that way

I would bet any money that even my thrashed old 92 SVX can run 60 inches in under 1.70!

would it beat a $22k WRX with $8 grand in mods?

i'd rather pay the extra $2k for AWD, rear power windows, and an interior that won't rattle itself apart in 15k miles.

just wondering, but are the Neons suffering from engine fires like the PT Cruisers? i was under the assumption they use the same engine.

$7K SVX + $3K in repairs (lol) + $20K in mods. I think it would smoke any $30K WRX or SRT-4.

No idea. I haven't heard anything about engine fires in neons, and I don't pay attention to anything PT related since I freakign hate those cars.
