Well there is really bad news there... They won't make the Formels in our offset and bolt pattern... So that really sucks but I am looking at a set of Rota Actions in Gold... I wonder how that would look??? .....

It's always nice to see some local 'faces' here, Victoria. I'm up in Chisago City (just north of Forest Lake). I'd be anxious to take a peek at your 5-speed project as it moves along. I'm always glad to see girls interested in the workings of their cars. I just showed my daughter-in-law how to change the oil in her Outback a couple of weekends ago.

Yeah, okay Rob.

Well, that sucks @$$ that they won't make the Formel's in our pattern. I know they make a few with our bolt pattern, just a 45mm offset. I just don't understand what would be so hard about doing it on a different style of wheel. Mbtoloczko has Sub-Zeros on his, and he says they fit okay. It'd definitely be worth the risk to have Formels on my car.

I'm kinda curious, how did you determine that Formels are not available in 17x7.5" with a 5x114.3 and 48 mm offset?

Because I talked to "subydude" and he said that he can't get them for me... Rota would probably make them for us but we would most likely have to go through ROTA it's self

Try a few other suppliers. I recommend trying:

http://www.modacar.com/
http://www.revolutionsmotorsports.com/

They may not have Formels on their website, but I think they can get the entire line of Rota wheels.

I was thinking Revolution, too. They have a couple of wheels in our pattern. I thought you had talked to Rota themselves, just because of the "they won't make them" remark. Subydude has sweet Rex parts and all, but it seems like thats all he wants to deal with. If the Formel's are what you want, then don't give up so easily. Your a Marine, dammit! Keep trying other places, even Rota themselves, until you get what you want...especially since I want some too!

Dude if ya want a skyline really bad just buy an old 240SX and I can get ya a Skyline GT-R engine and a GTS tranny to put in it... Ya know how fast that would be??? The re26DETT is a freaking race motor that was mass produced!!! It's redline is well up in the 8,000rpm's!! Remember how everyone ranted and raved about BMW's M# engine spinning to 8,000rpms... Well Nissan did it years before them and did it with two turbos!!! Hehehe
