yes, some day you'll get even with 'The Man.'
for someone with two tickets and points already on their license, i think i might have been extra careful not to exceed the posted speed limits until some of those points were gone. you were speeding, you got caught, now a whine-fest. someday, 'The Man' will pay!

I think you missed 2 things.
1. One of my previous tickets was complete BS, and I got screwed by the state. 2. I was pulled over about 20 ft away from the 55mph sign. Yes, technically that's illegal to speed up before the sign, but its also anal retentive/retarded/stupid/idiotic/moronic/a sign of cops that are extremely freaking bored. If you cannot admit that than you are just arguing for the sake of arguing and not telling the truth. - Rob |

point #1 - you got screwed by the state. sounds like bad luck, oh well, seems like you couldn't do anything about it. point #2 - you got pulled over for speeding up to the 55mph sign. you were speeding up in that stretch of road that you should not have and got caught. even though the cop may have had a bad day, didn't get any last night, his kid may have gotten busted for speeding in the great city of madison, or for whatever reason he chose not to let you off. it's at his discretion since you were actually the violated the law. look bub, try to get your license back with the help of a lawyer if needed, maybe strike a deal and take a defensive driving class if WI allows for such to be taken as credit. then after you get your license back, watch out for cops from now on to avoid situations like the one you have gotten into. if all else fails and you don't like the system, the laws, the cops, etc. then quit driving. take public transportation, ride a bicycle, or have your wife drive you around. remember driving is a privilege, not a right. so if you can't handle the system then maybe you shouldn't be driving. guess that's how the system see it since they deem it necessary to take away your license for your accumulated violations. |

SCENE: A rural courthouse in Bumhump, WI. ROB: Judge, may I speak? JUDGE: Why yes, young man, what is it? ROB: Before you pass sentence on me, your honor, you may wish to consider that one of my previous tickets was complete BS, & I got screwed by the state - YOUR employer, I must say! JUDGE: I had no idea! I think I can get that decision reversed for you. ROB: One more thing. JUDGE: Yes, what is it? ROB: One of YOUR bored, retarded, idiotic cops had the audacity to pull me over 20 feet, and I MEASURED IT, AND HAVE PHOTOS, before a 55mph sign. Sure I was already doing 55, but EVERYBODY does that, probably including your stupid fat-assed wife! JUDGE: Son, you know you're probably right. We appreciate you bringing out the facts in MY court of law. Bailiff, I want all traffic violations be expunged from this lad's record. ROB: Cool! JUDGE: Sure - Have a nice day. Bailiff, you have MY court's permission to hang this dude. Next case! My apologies, Rob. It was irresistable. Your pal, Ron.

LMAO Ron, that was good.
On another note, the other day when I went to RI court for my latest ticket, I found out an interesting thing. As long as I have my CT. license none of the tickets I get in RI go on to my CT. license record. RI does not share info with CT., so I now know why I still have a license. I planned on getting a RI license when my CT one expires but now I'm not sure I should do that, I'v only had about 4 or 5 tickest in CT and about 8 to 10 in RI, if I get a RI license they'll probly show it to me and then cut it up in front of my face becouse It will already be suspended I hate RI.

There were a few stupid ones like. Driving with fog lites on, when it was foggy out Getting a ticket for doing 45 in a 45 zone, the cop was sitting at the sign were it changed to 30 and was pulling people over for doing 15mph over. And getting a ticket for not useing my turn signal, at midnight, with no other cars in sight, any where. And then him adding a fine for not wearing my seat belt, becouse I took it off to get out my license and reg. Other than those few I can think of right now I'm pretty much guilty of the rest, but that dosn't meen I still didn't talk my way out of some. Hay, I drive fast, always have, always will.

Now Rob - IF YOU HAD READ the sentence properly, you'd have noted that nowhere did I state that you were doing 60. You were probably doing 54.5 in what was still a 35mph zone. I'm right & you're wrong & I stand by my statement. Ron (I'd rather be right than left).

But Rob - you say here "I wasn't stupid enough.......etc., as if I implied that you were, indeed, doing 60; and I made no such claim. I simply said that you were "probably" doing 54.5 because you were accelerating (and, of course daydreaming about fillings & crowns), but I admit this is speculation on my part. Nonetheless you admitted to doing 43 in a 35 (or was it 25?) zone. I therefore assign another 3 points to your permanent driving record. Ron (only thinking of your safety, Rob ;<) )

<Quickly prints off thread and faxes to traffic judge at Rosedale, WI, who will read at least a half-a-dozen admissions of guilt and several insults hurled at law enforcement and the entire system of jurisprudence, in general> <evil laugh>
