Link changed

By the way, when I first posted this the link was www.arondale.com/svx. That link is now the new SVX Flash site until www.badsvx.com resolves. I'm also not going to change it until I get a couple of mods on my newest SVX. Although the SVX is indeed a bad car, my other sites www.badbenz.com and www.badstang.com are examples of cars that have been modified for both looks and performance gains. So once I get a mod or two on the Red 97, I'll switch the flash link from www.arondale.com/svx to www.badsvx.com.

If you want to get to the original photos, I've moved it to www.arondale.com/svx/pics.html

Sorry about that.

Old fart memories dep't.

My first "serious" 35mm camera was an Olympus Wide-E, marketed under the Tower lable from Sears (& Roebuck) in 1961. I paid $19.95 for it less employee discount, as I worked for Sears during my college years. That thing had a real, built-in LIGHT METER that told me how to set the aperture (3.5 wide angle lens) & 1/500 shutter that stopped custom '51 Mercs in their lowered 'n leaded tracks. I filled many, many slide trays with a lot of underexposed shots. But 25 ASA Kodachrome did fine in daylight. I reluctantly willed it to my daughter who wanted to learn the principles of manual setting photography. I think she still has it - OR ELSE!

Ron (Now using Samsung lazy man's device).

Memories

Ron, I had one of those Tower brand cameras once....boy does that bring back memories. It was just a cheap Kodak-style roll film camera, but it took good general shots. Been a few Practika-Pentax-Nikon-Cannon's along the way until I got my little digital
Toshiba. Love that little thing!

Don

PS Great shots Arondale!
