Rola Racks are available from:

The website for Rola is http://www.rola.com.au

Repco Export
Brisbane Australia
Contact:

Dallas at
rapoz@repco.com.au

The roof rack number is RM063 $230.00.
LA2 $96.97 set of 2 skis.
LA3$107.66 set of 3 skis.
LA6 set of 6 skis $138.54 .
Send the goods by DHL freight to your door
All prices are in Australian dollars.
These racks are to suit a Subaru SVX 1992 TO 1997

Dallas is great to work with, I had my racks in a week ($65 Au to Washington State), and they replaced a set of locks NC due to shipping damage without any argument. Great company to deal with....

So how much did you spend in USD? and which one did you get (2 ski, 4 ski... ). Do you go to White pass often?
I keep calling that ad you PM'd me about the tires, but they are never home. I'll try again tomorrow I guess.

I visa'd the bill, so my recollection is that it was about $315 US. The interesting deal (at least for me) is that I got a bill in the mail from DHL (the shipper) for $12 duty. I bought the smallest arm, it looks like you could do 3 pr of skiis. It is too low profile to mount the skiis base to base, so they have to be set side by side. This one will only carry 1 board, although you might be able to get a board and 1 pr of skiis on it. I sort of figured that if you had more than 2 people and their gear, you'd take something bigger than the svx!
Don't ski much anymore, bad back makes the moguls less fun, tore a MCL and didn't have surgery-so that makes the knee a little unstable. All in all, just too damn old to rip it anymore (and ifn you cant tear it up- wheres the fun?)
I'm home most of the day, so I'll try the tire number and see what I can find out.
My son and his friends were at White weekend before last, they said that there was between 3 feet and 4 inches on lower roller. They were hiking up and snoboarding down. White was planning on being open T-giving, but I don't know what happened up there in the last 3 days.

Sorry- my bad
Mike is right, if you go to the Rola site, the basic rack is $299AU, the arms start at $127Au and up. I just cut and pasted the reply from Dallas from the last rola thread to clean things up. The prices quoted look like pretty close to US $. When I bought mine, the exchange rate was $100 US = $137AU, but I suppose that goes up and down. The Rola racks aren't any cheaper than anything else, but they look great and actually fit the car without modification.
