The Game Cube and XBox support progressive scan modes - 480, 720 and 1080. The PS2 does not, but that's the penalty for being the first out of the gate, I guess.

The problem is that not all games that support progressive scan modes also support widescreen TVs. So they get all stretched out. I refuse to play like that, so I have to eect the disc (on the XBox), go into the console's control panel, and disable progressive scan modes.

Some games look just effing fantastic at 480i widescreen - Project Gotham 2, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Freedom Fighters... Some PS2 games support widescreen and they look very nice, as well. GT3, for example, looks like an entirely new game on a wide HDTV, using component.

To many of the models last night look the same. The same "boyish" looking face. Tyra excluded. I miss the days of Claudia Schiffer, Elle McPherson, Cindy Crawford, Kathy Ireland, etc... When you knew them just by sight. Especially Claudia!!!!!!

Perhaps you are just getting too old
I can tell them all apart by sight.

Doug,
It was a joke...big screen in house - try to install it (hack it into) in the dash of your SVX

Ron, I believe that it's now your turn; then pass it on to Randy or Don.

I could never figure out what Victoria has that's a secret anymore.

I tell the wife I'm looking at thier faces!!! I actually got here to watch part of it. She even got me an autographed picture of Claudia Schiffer once. She was the perfect woman. A tall, blue eyed, blond, German. Wow! I would put Elle McPherson 2nd and then Tyra Banks.
