Smile svx on tv but not seinfeld

well me and my roomate were waiting to go to class and were watching tv. don't ask me why we were watching growing pains. that is such an old school show but they two boys were driving in their car and got pulled over by a motor cycle cop. right before this i saw a blueish svx. im not sure if that was the right color cause it was the night time but it was a svx. oh well thought it would be cool to mention that i saw one outside of the seinfeld episode.
take it easy all

YES YES YES, we've all seen it - it's in the episode where they all get lost in the parking gar...

...oh, you said you saw it in something other than a Seinfeld episode.

That's neat. Thanks for sharing.

I keep looking

I'm kind of a fan of the police chases on tv... I keep expecting to see someone try to out run the police in a svx...

I'll keep looking.....

I'm a law-abiding citizen. I haven't been nailed for a moving violation in a long time, and I drive safely, without affecting other drivers on the road to the best of my ability. But I have to say that would be pretty bad ass.

What's the top speed you can safely reach in a Police Interceptor? I mean, I know and SVX can't outrun a helicopter or a radio, but video footage of an SVX, in the rain, leaving a bunch of cruisers behind...

...come on - you know you love it.

Well I was kind of going the other way

And I'm afraid I'll be flamed for saying it... but my thought is... with the level of experience that most car thieves have... It would be a short pursuit...

L... why would you run from the police?

The Police will win...Back in the old days you just might be able to out run the radio... if they didn't get a good look at your plates... now with fleeing being a felony in most states.... it's just a stupid losing proposition....

my brother was visiting me at college last year, and we were driving in my car and for some reason, the topic of police chases came up.. i said to him:

"Max, if you're ever being pursued and pulling over is out of the question, you're better off taking the side roads than getting on the highway.. their cruisers are built for straight-line speed and you stand a decent chance of losing them on the smaller roads if you've got a nimble car.."

two hours later we're watching one of those "scariest police chases" tv specials and the announcer says "this driver knows he can't outrun the cops on the highway, so he takes them to the backroads.. and LOSES THEM!!!!!"

this was the first time i'd ever seen the perp lose the cops on television.. it was awesome. max and i sat there with our jaws down and i said "see dude?? told ya!"

To be honest though, after about 1000, you never really care about the post counts. You just post when you feel like you want to make some noise and put more log into the fire j/k

I just post when I think I can say something. Often times, I can say a lot on a lot of different topics.
