saw an svx with a different hood

I saw an svx today with an aftermarket hood. It looked much like stock exept for a smaller wrx style intake opening in the middle. It looked pretty good. Coldnt tell if the intake scoop was open to the engine bay or if it was just for show. Any ideas where he could of got this hood from?

If it is a bolt on hood, you might want to talk to Dale at motorsports wearhouse.

I think he might have a bolt on scoop or two

Re: saw an svx with a different hood

You might have seen the carbon fibre hood organized by Paul as a group buy several months back.

I don't know whether Paul lurks around here anymore, last I heard he was selling his SVX.

There were about 8 members that bought the hood, I think around $650 or so.

If it looked kinda like this:

then, it was the famous (infamous?) "rev_hard" (Paul) C/F hood.

Thank you Randy, I am almost positive that was the hood. So if it was, then he must of been a member of this forum. Anyone know of a Green svx in the Milwaukee are, with svx banner on rear window, banner on front window (dont know what it says), and aftermartket exhaust? Two kids were in it so maybe it is in differnet hands now.
