Question New paint- what do you think?

Just had body repair and repaint done on my recently purchased polo green/beige 94 LSI. Check out my locker. Your comments are welcome. Happy SVXing!

Thanks Shot King. I had to part with the 92 claret 1.5 years ago- a bad mechanic resulted in blown head gaskets(too long of a story). The Legacy GT was sold to get capital for a home. Finally I was able to feel the SVX rush again by acquiring the 94 polo/beige LSI this July. It needed some paint and body and some minor mechanicals- but as we all it is difficult to compare to a SVX and AWD. I prefer it to my 02 Maxima SE 6-speed. It is nice to have purposeful reason to explore SVXS.net again. There are so many good people with much knowledge and experience to offer.

THANX to you all!

your car pix

Hi

Don't get upset but your car looks beautiful but via my computer, it looks like the wheels are photo-shopped: each and every one!

Sorry

LOL Photoshopped? Nothin' for me to prove. Just thought I'd share some pics for others to view. Not upset just amused...

Thumbs up

Damn sharp!! I dislike the word 'grey' when you describe it though in your locker. Now "Pearly Silver Bullet" fits the car quite well!! I am totally amazed how beautiful that paint job is!! BTW, I really like your wheels/ rims! What are they? Are they 16" or 17"s?

Very, Very nice. On my computor the picture of your polo green looks blue. So I wonder if I am seeing the real colors on all your cars.

Hey, those are very nice man... It would be cool if you could come to Reading next year with all of them... But I think that since you live in TX, that would be a bit long of a drive for ya... Good luck with your SVXi!!!

Nice color. Do you have a paint code. I think Aaron would approve of that one. Maybe even with a black top or black from the bumpers down. Hmmmmmmmmmm...................

I agree, good color choice. I could even go for something a little darker too. The one gray color I don't understand is on the Audi TT's, it's looks like the car is still in primer. Blaa.

JLittell:
the wheels are 16's; they were on it when I got it: I do not know the brand/name

LarryIII:
It looks blue to me too; It's weird what effect the night and the flash have on polo green; yes those colors are real

GreenMarineSVX:
the only vehicles I currently have are the 02 Maxima and 94 SVX;
Yes, Reading is quite a trip from Texas and vacation time is sparse; Thanx for the invite.

elninoalex:
the color is 2003 BMW titanium gray metallic; build a 745i on the BMW.usa website; sometimes it appears greenish, sometimes gray; I think that the sterling gray metallic would be a good choice as well; I thought that a modern upscale make color would make the SVX look more luxurious

Thanks for all of the positive comments- they are appreciated.

Happy SVXing!

It looks fantastic in the gray you chose! I might even be tempted to go that route myself. If one of the photoshop wizzes could take your picture and filter it so it looks like a black over gray I would love to see it. I think it might even look classier than it already does. Great choice in color! I like it even more than the silver.

How extensive was the body work you had done and how much all together with the paint?
