i raced another '92 with a broken transfer clutch hence FWD.. he spun tire at the light and i hooked up and jumped off the line.. it was over before it started

John (svx_commuter) and I raced each other from a stop on the way back from dinner at the Reading4 meet. We both have 92's and I was amazed at just how dead even it was! I had about a 1/3 car-length jump on him off the line (better reaction time. He's an old man! ) but from there we were exactly the same distance from each other to @ 80mph (he may remember better than I - I'm getting old myself) where we had to brake for the next light. We were both grinning from ear-to-ear like school boys. Both of us were a little taken aback at how they accelerated and shifted the EXACTLY alike. But as they say, your results may vary.
