Car wont start after icing snow
It was snow all over my car night. This afternoon, the ice melt. But my car wont start. The battery completely dies. So I use a charge cable. Then battery back on and the instrument lights on also. But it just cant start. I heard very slow crank sound, but just cant start. As I remove the charge cable, the battery immediately completely die. The battery is 1 year old. Need help. Thanks.
PS: I got a scoop on my hood. Is that the problem that lead the melting water goes in? |

You have a hood scoop on your SVX?

water ran in, froze, and shorted out something, get out your hair dryer, and start thawing it out, I'd disconnect your battery for a while until you dry out the ice, as you may kill it.
there is also a chance you may have fried some technology, ouch, but not normal. But hopefully some-one has a better idea than I?

Just a thought...
With the hood scoop you may have had water get to the ground strap on your battery.. I had the same problem a short (pun intended) time ago. A pretty cheap fix at 30 bucks and one that you can do yourself. I hope that's all it is... Bad Battery Ground Strap....
