All years have solid rear rotors.

All years have single piston calipers.

I looked in my repair manual and it shows 2 POT calipers, and vented rotors

I was thinking that if there are svx's with 2 POT calipers, and vented rotors in the rear they could be used as an upgrade.

What repair manual are you looking at?

Technially the SVX uses the same rear caliper as the Legacy's and Impressa's and there is a direct 2pot replacement for thoes.

My original Rotors are coming off my '92 SVX Touring Edition this week, so I'll let you know if they are vented or not.

Smile REAR rotors

Mine were plain. I got replacements at Autozone for $70. a year ago. Still working fine! [Originally thot fronts were warped. Bot ventillated cross-drilled front rotors from Motorsports.com @ $400. per pair (quality "low" - had to drill two holes myself that they FORGOT! so I wouldn't have to return and wait for replacement). But, they still work OK.

Because of this, I'd like a ventillated upgrade myself!! Someone told me that the rear rotors may have failed first (odd) since the ABS was putting too much braking to the rear (?). Never checked it out.

Let me know, if the upgrade IS available. THANKS,

When i ordered my KVR x-drilled, the rears came vented, but when i pulled the rotors off the car they were solid. The caliper wouldnt even fit over the vented discs, i called the company that i ordered from, and took care of business.

Re: REAR rotors

It sounds more like a front/rear bias adjustment, pad, or stuck caliper issue to me rather than the ABS. When my front calipers were binding, I noticed that the rear pads were worn much more than the fronts.
