22B Tranny/diffs?

I read once that the Impreza 22B had a little dial which would vary the torque split between front and rear wheels, essentially making the car front, rear, or four-wheel drive at the driver's discretion.. Just wondering if you could transplant the diff and controller into an svx, and where one would go about finding those parts...not that i could actually afford to do it, but i'm sure one of us probably could..

Check this out Here. Good read and could probably work for your SVX. Also, the new STI has controllable center diff (called DCCD, too lazy to refind the acronym) that is adjustable.

IIRC, the STI Spec-C has the adjustable DCCD and has 3.54 rear diff ratio, the same as your SVX
