Antenna connector, which is which.

I've replaced my OEM stereo with a Sony. Not surprisingly it doesn't have dual antenna connectors.
I've used a short male to female antenna cable from AE64 to connect to one of the antennas, but reception is still poor.
The power antenna isn't rising, so I guess if I'm using that then that would explain the problem.

Does anyone know which connector goes to which antenna ?

There are two connectors, one is a female, the other a male.
Next step is to buy a male to male antenna cable (or m2m coupler) and try the Sony on the other antenna, but it would be nice to know which is which.

Re: Antenna connector, which is which.

The one that could plug in without an adapter (if length wasn't an issue) is for the power antenna.

Re: Antenna connector, which is which.

ok, thanks.
So i need to either repair my power antenna so it goes up or buy a male to male antenna cable to link my new stereo to the antenna built into the glass.

I like the latter, thanks
