Anyone near Portland, OR?
I could use some help fitting some WRX seats into my SVX, and I lack the tools to install the seats. If there is anyone within a 200 mile or so radius of PDX, and you have the necessary tools, I would gladly pay you in money, drink of choice, or both!

Lemme know if you can help!

I've gotta bent the front feet (I've got a hammer for that though), cut & weld a foot onto the seat rail for the transmission tunnel, and *maybe* make a foot for the outer seat rail bolt, but that one may work as-is, not sure yet

Dang! Oh well!

If you need parts for anything, there are two 92's up here at the Sherwood Pick N' Pull, and I live ~5 minutes from it. I can grab anything you need off of them!

Haha, I was just up there grabbing parts for a BRAT. One of them has a custom glass sunroof but someone already took most of the good interior parts. Lots of engine parts left and body trim.

John's Subaru in Gaston, OR isnt to far from there either, hes a really nice guy and has almost any subaru part you could ever need ever.

Yes, he has a graveyard of sorts. I managed to catch him on a bad day (I assume). His prices for stuff to me were overpriced but the day I showed up he was arguing with someone about money on the phone. One of his workers there were very helpful.

He has a bit of older ones and a few new ones depends on the year.

Eh. Not sure if I feel like bickering with prices with a junker guy. Sometimes they seem to forget that they're just sitting on a pile of used parts, yet charge brand new prices for them

That's usually not the case. Typically people want "normal" used car part prices and don't want to pay a fair price for the specific part. Especially when a place or person specializes in something. For instance, I can go to a pick n pull and get just about anything at rock bottom prices because it's all the same to them. However, if I were to go to a Subaru specialty junkyard, I'm likely going to have to pay 10x or more the price for say a certain engine or transmission vs what I can go and pull them for.
