overdrive
I have a wierd problem. When my car is completely warmed up and shifts great and goes into overdrive without a problem. Now if i just get into it and go and seems like it wont go into overdrive unless i really force it. Idk what this could be. I need some help from some subaru experts. I work on chryslers all day so i wouldnt know

Once the transmission warms up, the TC will lock up. The TC doesn't lock when cold. If you have a cooler, it takes even longer to reach lock temp

and how does one force a torque converter to lockup? this is a hydro/mechanical/temp occurance I think, nothing electrical and no tricks that I know of to make it lock, but I have little experiance with auto trannys. HOW DOES IT LOCKUP? Sorry about that...G
