Battery Warmer

Has anyone installed a battery warmer in their SVX? I'm wondering if the ones intended for other Subies will work. There are a number listed on Ebay for about $30, but these are all the same Subaru P/N.

I'm running the big 34/78 Optima Red Top, which has so far done admirably in the -40 and below winters here, but it's getting older and I don't want to push my luck (especially with a $230 battery).

Re: Battery Warmer

They're pretty much universal.
I have a 5+ year old Optima (34/78 I think) in my Sierra which wouldn't start in the -27°C last week. I found my old Canadian Tire battery warmer in the basement and it's been fine ever since.
