vacuum lines

just like to check as I have just replaced - what were some very brittle and broken rubber lines on top of the engine.
Followed all in the diagram, but as my non return/check valve was already off (one of the broken ones) does it matter if it is connected to the top or bottom (I fitted to bottom one) of the black vac chamber - and what way how the check valve operate
ie - allow pressure out but not in

cheers
bruce

Re: vacuum lines

Im pretty sure it doesnt matter, its just a vacuum reservoir, but, the line with the check valve (coming from the front side hard-line) goes on the bottom port. If you removed the check valve too, the end that allows suction goes toward the vacuum reservoir.
