Well, SVX ain't your car. They're ALL autos, and they are notorious for transmission problems. :\ sorry.

Kentucky insurance only considers the SVX, a "midsize 6-cyl coupe." It isn't considered a "Sports Car." THANK GOODNESS!

for a little over $1000 my WRX could do sub-5 sec 0-60. wish we could do that to the SVX!

Yeah but I betcha the WRX turns over 3k at 80mph, while the SVX doesn't.

you're right - the SVX doesn't. i prefer it for highway driving, which i don't do a whole lot of.

Actually, I just got my insurance bill and the SVX is actually cheaper than my old '88 Toyota Corolla. I will be getting a small refund from my insurance company. A lot of insurance companies don't even consider the SVX as a sports car.

The 2003 Legacy GT has a 2.5L 4 cylinder motor, non turbo. It uses a 10:1CR. IF they are making the 3.0 H6 available in the Legacy GT next year, then yes it is possible that it could have a higher CR like 12:1....

But no EJ25 has ever been run that way. They are ALL around 10:1 and all make 165hp and 166lb/ft of torque no matter what vehicle they're sold in.

That jump in CR would put the EJ25 around 200hp... which would be nice! Even nicer would be the new H6 with a high CR putting out 260hp with a manual... that's one of the latest B4 craze rumors on Iclub.
