Subaru comic

I came across a funny comic today picturing the old GL station wagon on a comic site I visit fairly frequently.

The link to the photo is here: http://www.marriedtothesea.com/04040...ccessories.gif

and the website is http://www.marriedtothesea.com

Pretty funny site I must say.

Just cause they say it's a 83 Subaru, doesn't make it one... The overall shape is off, and the rear door windows aren't split.

Here is a rear angle shot of a 81-84 wagon;

The fact that the rear quarter doesn't extend out as much, lack of fender flare, taillight shape, passenger to rear quarter windows and chrome accents aside it doesn't look too dissimilar.

Compare the real to the drawing.

No its not mine, but my mom owned a car like that one, which was blue. I have to give it credit for introducing me to and now liking Subarus. She ended up selling it 8 years later due to it randomly stalling, oh well.

However, if you are implying that it is illegal for my to link a pic to somone else's car without permission. I do not need to ask permission as long as I am not hotlinking it which would suck bandwidth from his website, using it for the basis of material for selling or as long as don't claim is mine, which I am currently stating.

All that aside, that Loyale does look nice. Do you think I put in too many smiles?

No problem with the linking... Just wanted to congratulate you on a beautiful car if it was yours. The pic I posted was just the first EA81 wagon to pop up when I browsed the ultimatesubaru gallery space, now that I checked out the pic that you posted, I think I know who's car it is... or at least who's server it's on...

The early hatches and wagons are also what started me on the "road to Subaru"
