will a FWD speed sensor work?

i just got a new speed sensor (yesterday as a matter of fact) i put it in and screwed it up obviously. now i need another one. i have a 92 lsl, which is what the sensor came from. my question is, will it work if i get one from a 94 FWD? i need my awd to work, and if using the one from the 94 wont fix it then there is no point in getting it. so can i use the 94 speed sensor and is it the same as any other? thanks for the help!

yes the sensor will work, as long as it is a speed sensor #2 that is found on the bell housing on the pass side of the transmission

alright thanks, it is that one. hopefully i wont screw this up again. getting expensive here haha
