Stainproof Floor Mat source
Check out the Yes Essentials website HERE
They claim to have virtually stainproof floor mats that are custom cut to fit our SVX. Stains like coffee, mustard, ketchup, grease, even permanent marher are repelled and released with soap and water. Be sure to watch the "View Our Demo Video" Coincidentally, the colors they are offered in are all in beiges, taupes and various shades of gray.  https://xweb4.milliken.com/YEW/frmColorInfo.htm Price is rather high at $140.00 for the 4 piece set, but they look like very high quality. Might ask them for a small sample of the light taupe and the dark gray, or else send them small samples of our mat colors to match. .

If the colors are a close match and the quality of the sample material is good, I wonder about the shape and what they are using as a pattern.
I guess we could send them a set of old wornout mats or a tracing of the outline of the mats. If all goes well, I wonder if we could arrange some sort of a group buy? I will check into that further. Dayle's are still cheaper at this point. I will also ask about salt stains and related questions. .

I have been using rubber mats during the winter months to avoid water damage to mine, but it would be nice to have a set that is still carpet.

I spoke with customer service at YES Essentials. They will check with their research department about the salt stain issue and get back to me.
She is also FedExing me actual sample swatches of mat colors available in order to match their colors to our mats/carpeting. They will also get back to me on the possibility of a group discount. .

I received the swatch samples today. The quality of he carpeting and backing look very, very good. The carpet fibers thenselves are a very heavy, dense pile which should resist matting and dirt.
The dark taupe color is not as close a match as I would have hoped for. I compared the sample to a one of the brand new sets of beige mats I already have and they are close in color, only a shade lighter. The gray on the other hand should work better. I have not had a chance to match them to the carpeting/mats in my son's pearlie but am confident that one of the four gray swatches will match fairly closely. I'll report more later. .
