Grassroots results are finally published...

The April issue of Grassroots Motorsports is on the newsstand with coverage of the $2006 Challenge.

I have a scan of the page in my locker.

SVX on the Grassroots $2007 Challenge Advertisement

Dave/Ben's SVX is on the full page advertisement for the $2007 Challenge.

It's a shame the SVX won't be represented this year.

I remember that SVX lol.

I knew a guy who was going to enter a TR7 in the 2004 challenge. They rigged up a tank of compressed air to feed into the intake for a 'unique' form of forced induction.

If I remember correctly, even though it did work, the weight of the tank pretty much neutralized the power gain, so overall it wasn't worth it.

Sadly he had leukemia and didn't make it to the challenge that year.

There you go Bill, I fixed Ben's quote for you

So is it official? Are you signed up? Are you taking SVreX or BS 7.743? I guess SVreX now that I think about the budget...

Dave,

Now that my proposal is ready for delivery to NASA HQ (tomorrow morning!!), I can actually start thinking about this Taking SVReX II is the only thing that makes sense. I picked up some inexpensive Kumho V710s in a 295/40-17 size, so I'm now looking for some inexpensive 17 x 10 rims to put them on. Paul included a lot of SVX parts in the purchase price, so I'll be putting them up for sale soon
