popped air bag

I popped the airbags on my svx..I will replace them..what can i d..or what must happen in order for me to start and drive the car after the airbags are reinstalled.

Significant Technical Input Registered SVX
You can start and drive th ecar with the airbags popped....

So nothing is required to "start and drive it" after you've replaced the bags...but the "Air bag" light will remailn lit....

I think I have a spare driver's airbag somewhere in the gargage if you are still looking to buy one.

Did the windshield survive? Every popped airbag I've seen took the windshield out with it.

might try getting a JDM steeringwheel/airbag combo if you are having trouble finding an OEM bag for cheap.

I've seen 2004+ JDM STi steeringwheels with airbags go for stupid cheap on ebay.
