Pads and Rotors
I had heard that some people picked up rotors and break pads from ebay, and was wondering if this is what they got:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Subar...spagenameZWDVW Also found these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Subar...spagenameZWDVW Which would one purchase? I'm going to need them pretty soon, and could use some advice. If so, how is the quality? Are you happy with them? After a month or two have they started to show signs of rust, does the zinc coating do what they say it does? They offer them with the SS brake lines for an additional 200$, but i think i'll pass on that. My rotors are warped to hell, and my pads are near gone, so it's about time. Thanks.

I would go with the Race Concepts equipment. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the parts I got from them, and the performance is excellent. Here is the pricing breakdown I got:
$422 total shipped to 19460. That got me 4 slotted rotors, 4 Axxis Ceramic Brake Pads, 4 Stainless Steel Brake Lines, and a bottle of ATE Super Blue Fluid. You can send an e-mail to sales@raceconcepts.net to get a price quote since not all of these items are shown on their website. Also, mention that you are a member of the SVXWN site. I don't know that you will find a better deal than that, and I've always been weary of "performance" parts sold on e-bay.

I would agree with the previous post. I have them myself and am very happy with them. By buying from them, at least you know what you are getting. I am very suspicious of some of the venders on ebay.

That's true, you don't know what your getting, but some of those people make their living off the eBay, and i wouldn't imagine them being in business for long with bad products. I had a good experience once before, but i don't remember the guy who sold them to me, they were oem replacements, and worked well, just rusted after a few rains, but that was only where the pads weren't hitting. Thanks for advice though. I'll diffidently check them out.
