I can build you a set of konis and I can even build the coilovers as well. After I am done it is as simple as bolting them in

dynomatta dn desertrunner are running a different kind of coilover. They run abouyt 3500 a set from what I understand.... DMS?? if I remember correctly. These are great for the applications they use them, but the koni/GC for the US is more than enough

Yeah I saw the thread about the DMS coil overs, thats deffinetly to pricey and not reasonable for street driving. The set on motorsports W.H. is the Aragosta adjustable set, still to pricey but would be kinda cool. I'm still waiting for those Bilstein's

Dustin

I know we're never gonna get Bilstein struts.

well I am offering the full coil-over (bolt in) at 1750. its the koni inserts in the stock housing with the coil-overs welded to the housing. It will bolt right into the car and the only thing you have to do is set the height where you want it

Its not that I dont want/cant install the Koni's, its just that im not to big on gutting the old struts and using "inserts". I'd just like a nice looking finished strut.

why?? You can get the old housings powdercoated after you weld the new seat on and cut the housing for the konis... I guess, but its a strut... no one is gonna see it anyway

No luck myself looking for other struts.

I have been calling some other mfg. myself, and nothing other than the OE and Koni units seem to be available. Gabriel quit making their units even as a special order, even though some vendors show them as available. I spoke to Tokico as well, I thought they used to do an SVX unit, but nada there as well.

Looks like OE for me - now I need to see if I can find someone with a good price and actual shipping rates. Subaru Parts price is good, but the shipping stinks.

Try Liberty Subaru in New Jersey. Their prices are usually with real close (+/-) to the others, plus they charge actual shipping costs. Their online ordering charges the SOA SRP though, so you need to call in and ask for their "car & driver" pricing. 888-782-9493

But then for something as large as struts, actual shipping from NJ to Cali may be as high as elevated shipping from WA to Cali?????
