Thumbs up Raceconcepts.net

I ordered new brakes and rotors from this company in Garden Grove, CA earlier today for Tom to continue with on my car. About an hour later I got a personal email from Ben Truong thanking me for being in the military and that they're going to waive shipping costs. He said he called my home number to confirm the order and spoke with my mom, who told him I'm in Iraq. This was something I've never seen before, huge thumbs up.

That is very good to hear. I will support them because they support you and our other troops. I will also thank you for your service.

I had a surprising thing happen to me a while back on Veterans Day. I was at church and they asked all of the veterans to please stand up, and about 20 of us did. Several weeks later, a woman came up to me and said that she thought she recognized me as someone who had stood up at the service and asked me if I had. I said yes and wondered where she was going with this. She said that she just wanted to thank me for serving the country and appreciated it. I was blown away. That is the first time I had ever been thanked personally for serving our country. That has been many years ago and I could hardly believe it. I don't think she had any idea of what that ment to me.

At work we were doing care packages for a while but havent lately. I know around the holidays I tried to find somewhere to send something but it was all organizations so one of the forums I go to had e-cards you could send so I did that...

Good for RaceConcepts though... Thats a good company right there!

Back when I was in the USAF during 9/11 I was going to the grocery store (in my BDUs) at about 8AM after a 12 hour shift and as I was walking in a lady walking out thanked me for what I was doing...

It was very awe inspiring...

They also give an SVX discount. I'm happy with my rotors, stainless lines, axxis brake pads, blue fluid.

I might go with greenstuff if I had it to do over again for the brake dust issue
