SVX network does have a tight group. You just have to be in the right region I think. The guys out west in WA area are pretty active. I think the Midwest people are pretty active as well and PA and NE region has regular meets as well. The boys down south (both east and west coast), I have not heard much from. So you might want to start things up overthere.

ps. nice chopper. I need to get me one of those.

WOW

This is really a nice one!

It's my favourite SVX-color and the rims are looking great.

Solarsvx,

Nice looking SVX. I like the chopper too. What's it's engine? I used to fly control line as a teen. I could never afford RC.

thanxs guys

the chopper is a .30 size called the rc raptor, i just purchased it like a month ago and boy is it hard to fly but it keeps my free time occupied

green i lowerd the frount abought 3/4 maybe almost 1" bye cutting one coil off the frount yes yes i know its gettho but i had to lower the frount it didint afect the ride in any way still rides smooth but im saving up to purchase lowering springs from motorsports

dayle well the rims are 18"s bye 8s i went with wider rims cause the wide stance the svx has i wanted to do 18"8s in the rear and 7.5 wide in the frount but u cant rotate them or anything and from what i heard it doesnt help the AWD i will have some snap shots of more detail soon

Cool

Really nice car, lovely rims.

I agree with Marty McFly, this black & silver is a Guigiaro trademark, so his cars are designed with this colour in mind. That is why it works so well for a lot of his styles.

My own top favourite is the [three-tone?] 92 only Japanese one that has a darker grey on the lower body and bumpers beneath the silver. It breaks up the bulk of the car and gives it a longer, more dart-like visual line.

I like the standard wheels, they are easy to clean. If I was going to customise, I would likely go for a style of wheel very similar to this. However, I would spray the rim centre body colour, and leave the rim polished. Body colour on mine is the dark Claret.

And I would only go up 1" to 17" by 7.5" rims, wearing 225x50x17 rubber. I know this would increase the rolling radius, and the speedo would be pessimistic, reading low. However, I think first gear is too low, and with the torque available you would get better overtaking speed in third on the highway.

You must have billiard table smooth roads in the States. Very low profile tyres are a no-no here. We have world class potholes. I have burst three 50 series tyres in three months. Wear 45 or 40 series? No thank you Sir, my wallet says!

Joe
