I don't really follow IRL because I'm not a fan of ovals, but I have noticed Danica rise up through the 'lower' series to IRL.

What surprised me was hearing that IRL cars' minimum weight was figured without the driver. In F1, the minimum weight is the car plus the driver. If nobody ever complained about losing to a smaller man, I think it'd be pretty shameful to complain about losing to a girl because she weighs less. But then, I can't say whether such complaints have ever surfaced. I wonder, if she starts winning, if they'll change the rules or leave them to encourage more women drivers.

JJ's tires were much newer....it was amazing that Bobby held him off as long as he did. A lesser driver would have run JJ high into the wall, but Bobby is a class act....just like his brother Terry.

Don
Yeah JJ!!!!!!
What concentration from both guys.......imagine driving for about 5 hours 600 miles at 160mph + while inches from the next guy......He pulled his "carl edwards" trick just at the right time.......now that's great racing!!

That's just it, most drivers above the average weight of 170ish have been complaining for years. This is just the first time the weight difference has been about 5%. Take note the winner was a scant 156lb chap.

I met Michael Andretti (he is from the Lehigh Valley and Mario lives here as well) and he is small. Much smaller then my 6'1 1/2" 200lbs. I couldn't fit in the IRL on display comfortably.
