I'd go for 4k $ maybe. Dunno.

I just paid $5,000 for mine witch has about 120k miles and a brand new tranz (rebiuld).
Besides that its in great condition but I think i did overpay alittle.
The guy was asking $6,500. I got him down to $5,000. It is the color and model I was serching for so to me it was worth it( as long as I have no problems).
Only time will tell.

Is the new tranny under warrantee (and is it transferable)? Do the complete records show that things that tend to fail have already been fixed (bearings, radiator, struts, oil leaks)?

Tranny has a 6 month warantee, he said radiator is new and did struts already. It seems to me the car is in great shape.
I just put a ram air in tonight. Cost me $8.00 at the hardware store. Got some flex tube and brought it from the intake resonater tube ( Removed resonater last week) to the hole I cut under the bumper.----Sweet!!!!

If you were asking me no the tranny is no long under warranty. The struts do need to be replaced though. I may try to talk him down a bit on that aspect.
