Bad news...

No.. not about the SVX.. I found out yesterday that I will be leaving for Ahmed Al Jaber air base in Kuwait on Monday. Should be there 90 days.. or a few more. Im used to having to go on temp. duty for the country, but the kids wernt happy at all. Ive been lucky up till now and havnt missed a Christmas. I told the wife to keep the Christmas tree up and my presents under the tree until I get back.

On a lighter note. Ill see if I can find any SVX keychains, parts, Etc while I am there... but dont hold your breath.

Chris

Best Wishes

Chris

Our best wishes go with you. We'll look forward to your safe return. At least, maybe you'll miss the worst of a ND winter.

After getting their butts bailed out by another Texas guy in '90, they better be wearing cowboy hats.
Stay safe Chris, & keep US safe.

Chris, My son-in-law just returned from six months in Kosovo (which is even more backward that Kuwait) and the whole time there he was able to call toll-free to his wife back home, and had access to internet/email while on duty. Maybe you'll get lucky. (No, not that. The other kind of lucky.)

Looking forward to hearing from you - sooner or later.

Steve
