Arrow My new winter project

It's kind of off topic but it also isnt. This winter since I'll be home most of the time, I'm undergoing a new creation.

I'm going to be glassing and shaping my own surfboard from a surfboard blank I'm going to be purchasing.

The blank itself is the styrofoam core of the surfboard which costs 60-70 dollars. I will be shaping it and doing the glassing myself in my garage. I'm planning on shaping the board to the length of around 6'8".

The best part I saved for last. The paintjob will most likely be white, but on the bottom of the board will be a sketchy painting of my SVX on the bottom. I already found the person to do the painting. The logo will be "SVX- The only way to ride".

That is the coolest project you can do, aside from SVX! A bit on expencive side, eventually it will cost you around $300 with all the fiberglass covers and finishes. Good luck and have fun with that!!

Oh, one more thing, I am not sure about 6.8, but 6.4 fits perfeclty in SVX, unless you live very close to the beach.

have a great surf...

Thanks.... I know its a lot of work but it will be worth it to design it myself and go through with the process.

My 6'0" and my friend's 6'4" fit in at same time when you criss-cross them.
