Now I've spent some time there and find nothing disparaging toward the neon... even though some like other cars... but I don't see anyone on that site repeatedly mentioning another car.

I have not said that I hate anyone... I just don't agree with the rampant promotion of the neon here. That's all.

I do not live here... I do check in quite often as I like quite a few of the people that do hang out here and have something in common with them...

I like my SVX!

The reason that I read the tripe about neons is because when I hit the view new posts button... I go there.... up until recently I didn't really run into things that offend me...
Now... I find quite a few things that offend me... I choose not to respond to 90 percent of them... I choose to respond to neons because they are fun to make fun of... I don't go to the neon forum and say how great my SVX is.... Even if the bug bit me and I wanted to become a neon enthusiest... I would NOT go there and say " Yeah .. I drive a neon but my SVX rules!!!" That is trolling... nothing more and nothing less.

We as a forum have had very intelligent and well written comments on our past cars in addition to very positive comments about other cars. There are people who modify their SVX and some who want to keep them stock.

I see where someone is leaving because, perhaps of me and my dislike of the forum being hijacked by neons...

If you don't like what I have to say ... you also have the opportunity to ignore it or me...

You may also choose to hate it...

Let's leave our personal lives out of the flame.... what I do with my time on the internet is my business. What you do ... is your's. IF I choose to "live" on a site... as long as I stay within the parameters of that site... It would be up to me... right?

I recieved a PM from someboy about closing this thread, because I'd gain respect from other members.

Sounds reasonable. But here's what bothers me.

I made a post about neons. Some people couldn't handle that. I wasn't trying to tell you guys anything, other than my opinion, in hopes that some of you would quit RIPPING on me for owning one. Who comes to mind?

Uncamitski. This guy has been a complete asshole to me for a long long long time. He claims he has me on ignore, yet he's badgering me in this thread, and in another thread about neons. It seems that if a thread comes up about another car, he turns into a raving lunatic. So screw him.

All I have done here was present the reasons why I have my opinion, and he keeps attacking me. He's acting like a little kid. We're grown ups here. So until he can acknowledge WHY I posted this, and why him arguing with the reasons for my opinion is futile, I'm not closing this thread.
