SSM fow Windows

Hello,

This will be my first post. So, I recently found Phil's website "Diagnostics and Datalogging for Subaru SVX". And, I made software for windows PC base on information in his website.

He told me he wished it was 20 years ago, but if you're interested, please try it.
It can communicate with the ECU's in SVX and make information into graph in real time.

I hope it helps someone.

Re: SSM fow Windows

Hello,

It has been tested by the Japanese SVX owners for a few weeks and most features are expected to work.

But, I have not confirmed the functions related to 4WS at this time since the SVX I own does not have 4WS. And no collaborators have appeared yet.

This software was created from information provided by external sources and information contained in service manuals. There may be errors in the information, and parts not described in the materials are created by guesswork.

Please let me know by email or reply here when you use it and find something does not works correctly. I will fix the software once reported information is correct or suitable, but we cannot promise when to update the software. Please note that we may not be able to respond immediately.

Re: SSM fow Windows

I took the liberty of posting a link to your site to the FaceBook SVX Nation group.

Now you have done this marvelous thing can I suggest some options for SVXii converted to 5 or 6MT transmissions?

Remove the AT specific parts like the vertical gear position indication and the gear number above it.

Remove the "4WS", "POWER" "MANU" rectangular boxes.

Alternatively maybe provide some hints on how to do personal modifications.

THANX AGAIN!

Re: SSM fow Windows

Thank you for your response.

Originally, this software was created for diagnotice of my frend's SVX though it should be useful for my SVX. There is information that Japanese dealers discarded the SSM2 because it was so old.
Also, I have information that the dealer refused to take the SVX into the workshop for diagnosis.

I have already uploaded links to some Japanese SNSs, and they seem to be useful for diagnosing SVX failures in Japan. I don't do FB, but I think spreading it is a good thing. I hope this tool helps more SVX survive longer.

I attached screen capture of logging example for your information. (sorry it is Japanese version).

And, for your request, sorry I can not understand what you are saying. In my understanding, All SVX is AT and no MT model.
