Miss when engine is at idle
I have a noticible miss that seems to be coming from the front two cylinders on the drivers side of the engine. It does not miss on acceleration. It starts when the engine has warmed and is at idle. It causes the car to shudder when doing about 40 mph but is not consistant!! Plugs have been replaced but does not seem to help. A suggestion that it may be a MAF SENSOR problem was made to me but my expeience has been that a maf sensor problem will shut the engine down but will allow a restart rather than causing a miss in a consistant location. Any ideas on a cure, or should I post it as a parts car?

Re: Miss when engine is at idle
One or more of your coils could be bad
Are you getting any codes? |

Re: Miss when engine is at idle
Check the compression on those two cylinders. Check the Coilpack boots very carefully, look for traces of white or brown "burn" marks. if u see that, thats the misfire
