Red 93 SVX on eBay w/66k, his story dosent mesh....anyone else?

I almost bid, and flew 3000 miles to pick this car up, however I ran a VIN check on it and the title history dosent mesh with his story.

Somethings not hitting me right. Anyone else? What troubles me to begin with as I kept re-reading it, is he starts it with.... "THIS IS A CAR ... "......Damn it! I thought this was that Japanese bobsled everyone was talking about.

Anyways...enought of my poor humor....on with my post.

THIS ONE I GOT FROM A DEALER IN THE AUCTION WHO STATED IT WAS DISCOVERED IN AN ABANDONED BARN SO THATS WHY THE TITLE COMES UP SALVAGED ... ONCE SOMEONE IS PAID FULLY ON A CAR (THRU INSURANCE) ... FOR SOMETHING OF THIS AGE AND CONDITION IT REALLY DOESNT MATTER . THE TIRES ARE NOT IN GREAT SHAPE SO IF ITS DRIVEN BACK TO YOUR HOME TOWN THEY SHOULD BE CHANGED ... BUT OVER- ALL CONDTION IS EXCELLENT ... ONLY 66K MILES AND LOOKS LIKE NEW ... THESE ARE COLLECTORS ITEMS ... AND WILL BE SOLD TO THE MOST FAIR BIDDER ... AND DONT FORGET I LOVE TO BUY TRADE-INS ANY YEAR ANY MILES ... TRY ME AT 9179395938 ...."

"IT WAS DISCOVERED IN AN ABANDONED BARN SO THATS WHY THE TITLE COMES UP SALVAGED" dosen't match up with the dates on the report. It was salvaged in 1998, and didn't sit for any amount of time until 2000.

I just got off the phone with him and he assured me that "It had not been in an accident, and if it has, I've never seen a repair job that looked that good. " I asked about the Salvage title on the Vehicle History report and the accident 03/22/2000 NJ State Agency RIGHT FRONT IMPACT WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE , he stated "Sometimes those things (reports) are inaccurate" .

I wish the guy would have been straight with me, I don't want to be shisted. I can deal with the Salvage title, I just want the truth....


Has anyone over on the East Coast seen this vehicle, or know of it? Or know of this dealer?
