There's a pretty big mod class now. It'll be Dave and my's biggest class for the whole year. Looks like 6 so far including the battle of the original turbo Legacy/Galant. I hope they like coming in behind an SVX with Jeep like clearance .
Mental note, must find a golf course to practice on!!!

Just an FYI, the SVX doesn't make the best of rallyx cars. Sure its fun but can you say OVERSTEER!!! My time was 385 seconds. FTD was around 365. I came on strong towards the end when I stopped braking so I guess that isn't bad for the first time out with stock springs up front and 200lb springs in the rear.
Didn't bottom out once, exhaust stayed on and only battle scare is a broken rear strut mount. The Hoosier dirt stockers performed nicely (great traction when accelerating, not great in the turns) although I'm sure some actually rally tires would've needed about 5 seconds overall. Definately not a car freindly endevor. It puts a hurting on everything that an autox couldn't even dream of.

I think my car will be staying on the pavement, thank you very much Welcome to the world of racing induced breakage! How in the world did you break the rear strut mount? Did you just grind a little too much away in making them fit? -Bill
