Arrow Mystery Model

I'm trying to figure out which model SVX this is because the owner isn't sure. I'm thinking about purchasing it and I've been given pictures. I've tried looking up the different features available for the 1995 models compared to the features this car has.

Note the woodgrain dash panel which is supposedly only available in the LS and LSi models for 1995. Not even optional for the base L model; that had a gray insert if I'm correct.

The owner wrote to me that he/she believed it to be an L model FWD... but I'm not sure if they know. They started off the sentence with "I think." So "I hope" if I drive down to take a look at this car I'll be surprised by an LS. Although it could potentially still be a FWD. Definitely not LSi which came with leather interior.

Here's an outside pic in case any of you can recognize different trim levels, paint colors, etc. I know it has a rear spoiler that is optional for all three models, standard on two. Such a pretty car, I think I'm in love.

L or LS?

Re: Mystery Model

No sunroof so I believe it should be a L model. Maybe they got the interior of a LS? Could still be FWD or AWD though. Pretty sure in 95 the L and LS were available in AWD.

Re: Mystery Model

Keep in mind the VIN may not match up exactly like what is printed on the charts in the How-To document Vin number section. My car is a good example with my Vin. It seems to have different options than I see on the chart.

Just what I was thinking.

...I hope you were talking about the Emerald Pearl 94 and not the red one.

What are you trying to say? j/k yes the Emerald... It does look like a LS tho. Funny that I ended up with 2 94 FWD... both which have now blown front differentials

Re: Mystery Model

Someone correct me if I am wrong please. I though that the LS and LSi came standard with a moonroof. Being that this one does not, that indicates it's an L to me.

Re: Mystery Model

An easy way to see if it is AWD is to see if there is a rear differential between the rear wheels.

GET the VIN and we can stop speculating!

There are errors in the How To VIN interpretation, but we do have the data to get the correct interpretation.
