Lynwood Motors
I suggest not using Lynwood Motors in Lynwood, IL as a place to get work done on the SVX. They are a Subaru dealership and seem to have been good in the past...
I recently had quite a bit of work done here. I did water pump oil pump, seals, and timing belt done around Thanksgiving. Just last week the timing belt jumped and the timing was off 45 degrees! I am living in MI for school and I had to drive the wounded car 50 miles to the nearest Subie dealership. (Hodges imported cars, very nice place) There they told me what had happened and I was outraged since I just had this done recently. They charged me 280 to retime it and said that I should be able to get refunded by the other place. Lynwood Motors will not refund me. Timing belts do not just skip. Especially that much. I even bought my SVX there and have been several times for service. You would think they would do something. ANYTHING. They have most definitely lost a customer. Sorry for the long rant, I am done now.

Hodges is a good place. I had my SVX towed there when Ann Arbor Subaru couldn't fit me in, but still told me over the phone that I'd need a new tranny.
...of course, they were right, eventually...but not at that moment.
