Fuel Injectors?

I took my 92 to the dealer because I was afraid the tranny was going out (again) since it hesitates alot between 2-3rd gear. but because the tach doesn't go crazy the dealer said it's the injector.
He told me I have injector problems but he says he doesn't know if it's mechanical or electrical. How could I tell without just replacing the injector?
And do you think this might be the problem?
This is getting expensive - I'm having the radiator replaced this week, and the alternator 2 weeks ago.
